The Lyons Orff Glockenspiels are designed with both quality and economy in mind. These instruments begin with wood-chambered boxes. The tone bars are hand-lathed and made with aluminum for a rich, bright sound with steady overtones. Each bar has the note name engraved at the top for easy identification. Bell mallets are included.<br> <br> The note range for the Alto Glockenspiel is C5 to A6, and includes Add-on bars F#6, Bb6, and F#7. This allows the key signatures of C, F, and G major to be performed.<br> <br> The note range for the Soprano Glockenspiel is C6 to A7, and includes Add-on bars F#6, Bb6, and F#7. This allows the key signatures of C, F, and G major to be performed.
